Glamorganshire Rifles Volunteers Victorian Officer's Sword. A scarce example of a Volunteer Rifle pattern sword. The blade is etched with a reversed entwined Crowned VR Cypher. The obverse etched with a strung bugle bearing the Regimental title "Glamorgan Volunteer Rifles" The forte with Swansea retailer's name. The open guard decorated with a crowned strung bugle device, shagreen grip with twist wire binding. Etching to blade now faint, scabbard absent.
