Royal Dublin Fusiliers Boer War Pair of Medals. Awarded to 4625 Private James Kerns Royal Dublin Fusiliers. Comprising: Queens South Africa Medal, five clasps Orange Free State, Relief of Ladysmith, Transvaal, Laings Nek, Tugela Heights, Kings South Africa Medal with clasps South Africa 1901, South Africa 1902. Both medals correctly named 4625 PTE J KERNS RL. DUBLIN FUS. Medals loose and have been lacquered. Ghost Dates to the reverse of QSA.. Private James Kerns enlisted in 1892. He saw service in South Africa from the 10th November 1899 until the 14th September 1902.
Discharged in 1909 as no longer fit for service.
