17 inch, single edged blade with narrow fuller. Forte with maker "Sanderson" and dated 1/18. Steel crossguard and muzzle ring. Steel pommel stamped "KOSB-R 978". Wooden slab grips. Contained in its leather scabbard with steel mounts.
