Imperial German attributed Officer's sword by Ewald Cleff, Solingen. Good scarce example with 75.5 cm slightly curved plated blade etched with Imperial eagle, floral decoration with scroll EISENHAUER and owner's large name CARL KAUSEN. Plain brass hilt with guard, wire bound shagreen grip; housed in blackened steel scabbard with brass band supporting loose suspension ring. Minor service wear and very slight surface dent to scabbard. GC
