WW2 Rare D-Day Pattern Full Battle Assault Jerkin A rare example of the full Battle jerkin, which appears to have been field converted. Tailored in dark coloured material and webbing with chest Bren magazine pouches rear fixed back pack lower soft equipment pack side pouches and various webbing straps to accommodate extra fittings. Internal Small stamp to the collar and soft equipment to the base. An interesting feature of this example is the the original wearer has replaces the toggle and string fixings with press studs (Newey) and webbing strap and buckle to the large pack. Overall GC some service wear and a rip to the collar.
