1853 Pattern Regimentally Stamped Trooper's Sword

35 1/4 inch, single edged, slightly curved blade with wide fuller.  Forte with contract maker's stamp.  Back edge with broad arrow over "I".  Steel, 3 bar guard and downswept quillon.  Steel, oval pommel.  Checkered black leather slab grips secured by 5 steel rivets.  Contained in its steel scabbard with two loose hanging rings.  The throat marked "B.19.R.A.4".  External steel pitted with dark patina.
