British M1827 Royal Navy Officer's Sword by Wilkinson 31 3/4 inch, single edged, narrow blade with wide fuller. Etched Kings crown, fouled anchor, royal coat of arms and oak leaf and acorn panels. Forte with Henry Wilkinson Pall Mall London and retailers Gieves Ltd, London, Portsmouth & Devonport. Back edge numbered 56992. Gilt brass guard with Kings crown, fouled anchor cartouche. Shagreen grip with twist wire binding. Contained in its gilt brass mounted leather scabbard. Complete with gilt sword knot.
