Good scarce die-stamped brass large Sphinx on EGYPT tablet over 42 with St. Andrew and Cross on its back, thistle sprays to the right and left, at the top a WATERLOO scroll, below PENINSULA. Old replacement loops otherwise VGC Became 1st Bn. Black Watch in 1881.
