WW1 Imperial German Rare Variation Trench Fighting Knife by F.W.Backhaus A good rare example with 15cm straight spear point, sawback blade. This stamped with the cutler's details of F.W.Backhaus Ohligs-Solingen. The hilt with straight steel cross guard, this incorporating a barbed-wire snapper slot and complete with two piece wooden grip. Housed in metal scabbard with leather belt loop and retaining strap.
