Imperial German Seitengewehr M1898/05 Butcher Bayonet


14 1/2 inch, single edged blade widening towards the point.  Large fuller.  Forte with maker "Gottlier Hammesfahr Solingen.  Foche".  Back edge undated.  Steel, turn up crossguard and pommel.  Wooden grooved slab grips.  Contained in its steel scabbard, complete with leather frog. External steel rusted.
