WW1 8th Bn Welsh Regiment 1907 Hooked Quillon Bayonet. A very good example by Enfield with date stamp for June 1912. The pommel with clear issue stamp 8WEL. Housed in 1st pattern leather and steel mounted scabbard. The leather with faint name LEWIS and MATCHING NUMBERS 57 TO POMMEL AND SCABBARD THROAT. VGC retaining blued finish. The 8th (Pioneers) Welsh Regiment were raised at Cardiff in August 1914
