Good scarce die-stamped white metal Royal Crest on saltire and THE KING'S OWN BORDERERS circlet with thistle sprays and motto scrolls, Edinburgh Castle centrally; XXV below circlet. Toned loops Loops replaced by stout brooch pin. GC Redesignated King’s Own Scottish Borderers on 5th May 1887. Royal Crest authorised 13th March 1876.
