8th 5VB Liverpool Scottish Regimental Dirk. A good early 20th Century example. The plain blade with double fuller. The hilt of regulation pattern with bog oak grip with studs, the pommel mounted with an amber glass stone finial. Complete with black leather and white metal thistle mounted scabbard. This retains both knife and fork, decorated with matching glass stones. Both the hilt and top mount of the scabbard engraved 45. The scabbard with additional information 8TH (5) VB KLR Overall GC but with age and service wear, the thistle to the top mount of the scabbard absent, light pitting spots to the blade.
