31 1/4 inch, hollow ground, trefoil blade.  Etched foliage scroll panels, armour and weapons.  The forte with maker "Besch & Co Hanover St. London".  Quality gilt cast shell guard with armour and stand of arms with lion mask edges.  Floral decorated quillon and D shape knuckle bow.  Gilt Cavalry helmet decoration.  Wire bound grip.  Contained in its leather scabbard with floral scroll decorated gilt mounts.  Quality made, clean example.
