Japanese Wakizashi Short Sword With Signed Kozuka

17 1/4 inch, single edged blade of typical form.  Unsigned tang.  Silvered copper habaki.  Darkened copper tsuba with gilt floral overlay.  Darkened fuchi and kabuto-gane, both with gilt overlaid decoration.  Shagreen covered grip with traces of green binding.  Contained in its black lacquered scabbard with butterfly decorated steel ishizuke (chape).  Front of scabbard containing a copper handled kozuka knife with silvered and gilt decoration.  The blade with six character signature.
