Badge. 3rd Norfolk Rifle Volunteer Corps Victorian helmet plate circa 1878-81. Good scarce short lived die-stamped white metal crowned star bearing laurel sprays and title strap; three turret castle to voided centre. Three loops to reverse (two are old replacements) otherwise VGC. HQ at East Dereham. Became 3rd VB Norfolk Regiment in June 1883
