British 1847 Pattern Paget South Salopian Yeomanry Cavalry Carbine


15 bore, 16 inch, smoothbore barrel.  Front blade sight.  Rear V sight.  Steel lock plate with stepped tang.  Line edge engraving.  Crowned VR cypher.  Tang marked "Tower".  Filled in sliding safety.  Military pattern percussion hammer.  Polished full stock woodwork.  The butt with circular Enfield stamp.  Brass butt plate marked "SSYC" over "B26" (South Salopian Yeomanry Cavalry).  Brass trigger guard, ramrod pipe and end cap.  Steel swivel ramrod.
