Early 19th Century Greatcoat Flintlock Pistol By Towlson 

40 bore, 4 1/4 inch, browned Damascus barrel.  Front stud sight.  Rear tang with foliage engraving.  Chamfered edge, stepped lock plate with line edge and sunburst engraving with maker "Towlson".  Swan neck flint cock.  Steel frizzen with roller ball spring.  Polished, full stock with checkered grip.  Steel trigger guard, ramrod pipe and lower swivel ramrod.
