Scottish. 26th (Cameronians) Regiment of Foot Victorian Officer helmet plate circa 1878-81. Good scarce die-stamped gilt crowned star mounted with the Garter resting in laurel sprays bearing CAMERONIANS scroll; the black patent leather centre with silvered Mullet. Small silvered 26 below the crown.
