Fine rare silvered crowned star with faceted star overlay mounted with oak sprays and pierced title strap on blue translucent enamel. The black velvet centre bearing Garter Star with central red translucent enamel; Cross of St. George. Three loops. VGC Raised 26.3.1853; became 4th Bn The East Surrey Regiment on Friday 1.7.1881 with HQ at Kingston-upon-Thames.
