WW1 British Sheffield Made Trench Fighting Knife. A good and scarce example, fitted with a slim 11.6 cm blade, the forte with the details of CHAS CLEMENTS SHEFFIELD MADE. The hilt with alloy guard and the grip in the form of an ebonized thistle with chequered cut. Complete with original polished brown leather scabbard, incorporating a belt loop and retaining strap. The latter with an open press stud arrangement of typical Great War form. Overall GC knife now a little slack.
