German Third Reich Waffen SS Officer M43 field cap A fine example of grey gaberdine with rayon lining and fitted with leather partial sweatband to the front. The seam around the crown bearing silver aluminium wire piping; the curtain secured by two grey stippled buttons and fitted with internal cloth loops above each ear. The front bears green BeVo embroidered trapezoid with eagle and swastika over skull and crossed bones. Minor service wear. VGC
