pressed steel, D shape tin.  Side fitted wire handle.  Removable upper section with folding wire handle.  No visible dates.  Together with a pair of British Naval pattern, high, canvas gaiters.  Side secured by cord and upper strap.  Interior maker's stamp dated 1943.
