14 1/2 inch, single edged blade widening towards the point. Wide fuller.  Forte with maker "Gottlieb Hammesfahr Solingen Foche".  Back edge dated 16.  Steel, turn up quillon.  Steel pommel.  Wooden ribbed slab grips.  Contained in its steel scabbard.  Complete with leather frog.
