WW1 1917 Mess Tin and Cover. A scarce pair which appears to have always been togeather. The D shape mess tin is dated 1917 and contained in a 1903 pattern cover. The reverse with the original owners details of J Bryson 1018042. The cover with rust staining which appears to match the rust areas of the tin. Some service and age wear. Attributed to 1018042 Private John Bryson, born in England he served with the 232nd Bn Canadian Expeditionary Force.
