19th (Rochester) Kent Rifle Volunteers shako plate circa 1860-74. Fine rare die-stamped blackened brass oval with pointed hoop border and inner roped line. Centrally, set on two halberds, 19 over conjoined shields, one bearing the Arms of Rochester, the other the White Horse of Kent on lined ground. . Two screw posts . VGC Formed 23rd February1860 under command of Captain Henry Savage. Removed from Army List January 1874.
