Early 18th Century Cavalry Officer’s Sword.

33 1/4 inch, double edged blade. Short central fuller with maker “J J Runkel Solingen”. Steel raised edge boat guard. Double straight crossguard leading into the knuckle bow with side curled bars. Steel pommel. Wooden grip with silver twist wire binding. Good clean example.
