German Third Reich SS Long Service Award for 8 years. Good scarce bronze example, the obverse bearing SS Sigrunen within an oak wreath superimposed on a swastika; reverse inscribed FUR TREUE DIENST IN DER SS superimposed on the numeral 8. Small bevelled ring to top retains teardrop ribbon loop. No ribbon. Founded 30th January 1938
