Accompanied by a second 1914 Mons Star awarded to 6418 PTE H JONES RAMC (2 items) Gunner Frank Gardiner landed in France on the 11th September 1914 whilst attached to the 6th Divisional Ammunition Column. He was discharged in 1919 and awarded the Silver War Badge. Private Harold Jones landed in France on the 25th August 1914 serving with the 4th General Hospital. He was reported as wounded on the 30th May 1918.
