19th Century Continental Infantry Officer's Sword 32 inch, narrow, double edged blade. Gilt brass shell guard cast with central rampant lion within a wreath and on a ground of flags. Gilt brass knuckle bow with laurel decoration. The quillon with lion mask end. Gilt brass pommel with winged beehive and lightening bolts. Rear of shell guard absent. Contained in its brass mounted, leather scabbard. Complete with gilt sword knot.
