Royal Marine Light Infantry Edwardian Sergeant's Full Dress Scarlet Tunic. A good example of the regulation pattern, scarlet cloth with dark blue facings to the collar and slash cuffs. The shoulder straps with embroidered globe and laurel device and complete with Corps brass buttons. The right sleeve with Sergeant bullion chevrons. The interior with white blanket lining and ink stamps indicating inspected January 1905 and issued to CH 9572 R A Rowe. Scarlet remains bright and fresh. CH9572 Sergeant Robert Alfred Rowe, is confirmed as serving at Dunkirk in 1914 and was discharged in 1919.
