Die-stamped silvered crowned Maltese cross with scrolls THE NOTTS & DERBY REGT to the arms of the cross. To the voided centre, an applied gilt oak wreath and Stag lodged. Separately below, a silvered bi-part scroll SHERWOOD FORESTERS. Both parts with two loops. VGC Sherwood Foresters (Derbyshire Regimet) redesignated Sherwood Foresters (Nottinghamshire & Derbyshire Regiment) in 1902.
