WW1 Imperial German Model 1898/05 Butcher Bayonet. Early Type Example.

Single edged blade widening to the point, the forte stamped with details STAHLBLUKE R K SCHULTE & CO GEVELSBERG, also with a flying angel logo. The back edge with no issue stamps. The hilt with steel turn up quillon with early 1/4 muzzle ring and wooden ribbed slab grips. Housed in its steel scabbard. Overall GC. some age pitting.
