German M1940 Luftwaffe Steel Helmet

dark grey painted steel shell with lower rolled edge brim.  Ghost transfer eagle to the left side and remnants of the national shield to the right side.  Interior brim stamped "ET62" and "3837".  Alloy lining band with built in chinstrap loops.  Black leather, eight tongue sweatband (partly loose).  Later leather chinstrap with painted buckle.
