WW2 2nd pattern Fairbairn-Sykes Personalised Commando fighting knife.

A rare example. Double edged spear point blade, this with etched panel with the original owners initials “J.H.L.”. The ricasso with etched panel Wilkinson Sword Ltd. London, the reverse side the F-S Fighting Knife. The hilt with chequered grip, now though use only showing traces of the Parkerised finished. Housed in original brown leather scabbard with square chape. The upper section of the scabbard and four tangs absent. The overall condition is good, blade length 17.5 cm
