17th (Duke of Cambridge's Own) Lancers Victorian OR’s lance cap plate circa 1880-1905. A good scarce die-stamped brass triangular fluted plate bearing Royal Arms, Death's head, OR GLORY, SEVENTEENTH LANCERS scroll and six honours, the last being SOUTH AFRICA 1879. Two screw posts to reverse complete with verdigris washers and hooped nuts. VGC
