WW1 66th Field Bakery Co. ASC 1916 Casualty Set of Medals. Awarded to S4-090630 Private Patrick Doherty Army Service Corps.
Comprising:
1914/15 Star PTE ASC, British War Medal, Victory Medal, PTE ASC, Bronze Memorial Plaque PAT DOHERTY. Buckingham Palace certificate for the Memorial Plaque. S4-090630 Private Patrick Doherty a native of Elphin Co. Roscommon landed in Eygpt on the 16th June 1915. Serving with the 66th Field Bakery Company he was probably the oldest member being 60 years old. In 1916 he returned home in the UK and on the 9th April 1916 died at St.Albans at the time of his death he was 61 years old.
