British 1796 Pattern Infantry Officer’s Sword.

32 1/4 inch, single edged blade with large fuller.  Traces of crowned GR cypher and foliage etching.  Gilt brass, double shell guard with folding rear section.  Gilt brass, D shape knuckle bow, floral quillon and urn pommel. Silvered wire bound grip.  Edge repairs and pitting to blade.
