9 3/4 inch, single edged blade with large fuller.  The forte with maker "Alex Coppel Solingen".  Steel crossguard with regimental stamp 4.R.9.  Steel pommel with locking stud absent.  Wooden slab grips with securing screws absent.  Together with 3 x blackened steel FN scabbards.
