German Third Reich cased 1939 Iron Cross 1st Class by C.F. Zimmermann, Pforzheim. Good example with silvered frame and magnetic iron core. Reverse with hinged slender tapered flat pin and securing hook. The underside of pin stamped L/52 and 20. Housed in original back fitted case, the lid impressed with silver outline of the award and lined with cream silk, the base in cream flock. Iron centre with surface rust. GC
