A very fine and scarce seeded gilt rectangular plate with burnished rim; mounted with cut silver Thistle star set on a gilt slip; mounted on the star, a gilt oval resting in a scroll THE ROYAL REGIMENT with St. Andrew and the Cross to centre set on a blue translucent enamel ground.
