Victorian Scots Guards Officer's Piquet Weight Sword by Wilkinson 1874

31 1/2 inch, single edged, narrow blade with fuller.  Etched scroll panels with battle honour scrolls and panels.  Victorian crowned VR cypher.  Forte with maker "Henry Wilkinson Pall Mall London".  Back edge numbered 19535 (1874).  Steel guard with Scots Guards cartouche.  Steel stepped pommel and part checkered backstrap.  Shagreen covered grip with twist wire binding.  Contained in its brown leather field scabbard.
