Model 1837 Austrian Cavalry Officer's Sword

33 inch, single edged, curved blade with wide fuller.  Steel stirrup knuckle bow, downturn quillon and langets.  Underneath of guard stamped "Jacob Walek. Troppau ". (Silesia).  Chamfered steel pommel and backstrap.  Leather covered, ribbed grip.  Contained in its steel scabbard, the hanging ring mounts with central domes.  Minor rust patches.
