Fine MBE, MC, 1914 Trio & LS & GC Medal Group ASC

consisting MBE Military, silver hallmarked London in its fitted case.  Military Cross in its fitted case.  1914 Star named "S-14402 S.S. Mjr A Hewett".  Silver War and Victory "W.O. Cl.1". Long Service named "1/Cl. SS. Mjr".  These four mounted as worn.  Small newspaper cutting for the award of The Military Cross.  

First Class Staff Sergeant Major A Hewett.  Left Aldershot with the 1st Guards Brigade in August 1914 to France.  Awarded MC 14/1/1916.  LS & GC in 1921.  MiD 31/12/15.  MBE pre 1921.  Appears in Burke's Handbook Of The Order Of The British Empire published 1921.
