Attributed WW1 RFC Leather Flying Helmet and Photo brown leather, four panel crown. Small, fold up front peak. Lower, single section panel with rectangular ear vent panes. Double leather chinstrap which goes over the crown before fastening. Part fur lining and chamois crown. Some service wear. Together with a framed photo of the RFC owner wearing the helmet.
