Irish Antrim Artillery Militia Victorian Officer plume holder circa 1855-82.
Fine rare early attractive large unmarked silver domed disc mounted with crowned shamrock wreath bearing tile scroll; centrally, three guns in pale, each with mounted wheel converted to a brooch. Flames and plume holder absent. (Approx. 45 mm). Brooch pin and provision for safety chain. VGC Formed in November 1854 with HQ at Carrickfergus Castle.
