Irish Royal Meath Militia Victorian glengarry cap badge circa 1874-81. Fine and scarce die-stamped white metal crowned Tara brooch pattern, the upper part inscribed ROYAL MEATH. Two loops. VGC Headquarters at Limerick, became 5th Bn. Leinster Regiment 1st July 1881.
