WW2 1st pattern Fairbairn-Sykes Commando fighting knife. Parts. This example appears to have been re-constructed during its working life and is all original parts. Double edged spear point blade, the ricasso with etched panel Wilkinson Sword Ltd. London, the reverse side the F-S Fighting Knife. Recurved cross guard. Fitted with a brass grip of chequered design, usually associated with the 2nd pattern. Housed in a late pattern brown leather scabbard with parkerized rounded chape, retaining retaining strap and complete with four tangs. The overall condition is good, with minor age wear. Blade length 16.3 cm
