1912 pattern attributed EIIR Cavalry Officer’s sword by Wilkinson London A very good and scarce post 1953 example by Wilkinson Sword of London. The blade, numbered 86894 (1964), is etched with a Crowned EIIR Cypher and scrolling foliage decoration and the owners initials G A H. The hilt is of the regulation pattern, with simulated shagreen grip with twist wire binding. Housed in brown leather field service scabbard. Remains in very clean condition, a few stains to the tip of the blade and with a little attention could be returned to parade condition. The vendor states this was carried by a Mr George Hampton.
