Scarce Late 19th Century Bayonet Practice Rifle


28 inch barrel with front steel rod plunger (seized).  Rear steel oval guard.  Steel strengthening tangs to the top and bottom of the wooden butt.  Brass butt plate.  Polished wooden, short forend secured by two steel bands and the steel end cap.  Old service repairs to the butt and steel with some pitting.
